Helen Witt

Helen C. Witt, 95, of Green Country Village in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, died November 6, 2010, after a brief illness. Born October 28, 1915, in Decatur, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late George Otis and Ersel Beulah Hathaway. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Eugene ‘Gene' Thomason Witt on June 22, 1998. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, her siblings were Charles Hathaway and his wife, Alberta, of Chula Vista, California; Jack Hathaway and his wife Mildred, of Decatur, Illinois; and Margaret Jean Langley and her husband Kenneth of Kirkland, Washington. Surviving are sons and their wives: Tom Witt and Grethe Myles of Morgantown, West Virginia; John and Mary Jane Witt of Bedford, Texas; and David and Susanna Lytle Witt of Keller, Texas. Also surviving is a grandson, Taylor Roth Witt of Arlington, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
