Henry Malone

June 18, 1943 — February 9, 2007

Henry Ray Malone, 63 year old Nowata resident, and former Nowata Mayor, died at his home in Nowata Friday, February 9, 2007. He was born June 18, 1943, in Pryor, Oklahoma to James Edgar and Adalaide (Pool) Malone. He graduated from Chelsea High School and continued his education at the University of Oklahoma. On March 21, 1969 he married Kathy Campbell in Nowata. Henry was the Administrator for Osage Nursing Home for 12 years and was currently employed by the Internal Medicine Clinic of Tulsa, as a triage nurse. Over the years Henry and his wife Kathy served as foster parents for numerous children. He was always active with his sons and the community serving with the Little League Baseball, Board member for the Carolyn Seymore Ministries, and as Rainbow Dad. He was a member of the New Life Assembly of God Church where he served as Sunday School Superintendent, and Praise and Worship Leader. Henry always had time for his boys. He loved to cook for them, be there to support them in all they did. His family meant everything to him. A husband, father, grandfather, and friend will truly be missed. Preceding Mr. Malone in death are his parents; daughter Lisa Malone; and sister Maxine Glazebrook. Surviving Mr. Malone are his wife Kathy, of the home; sons Jon Malone, and wife Robyn, Jason Malone, and wife Pam, Matt Malone, and Mark Malone, all of Nowata; 9 grandchildren; siblings Melinda Davis, of Claremore, Clinton Malone, of Chelsea; Brother-in-law Lawrance Glazebrook; many other relatives, friends and loved ones.
