Funeral services for Herman Eugene Anders are 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 18, 2013 at the First Church of God in Nowata with Pastor Wendell Abbott officiating. Herman Eugene Anders, 79, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at his home in Nowata. He was born April 21, 1933 in Okema, Oklahoma to Clayton and Esther Jane (Bradley) Anders. He lived in Arizona for many years prior to moving to Nowata October 20, 1976. Mr. Anders was an over the road truck driver logging over 3 million miles during his career. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars and his dune buggy. His number one enjoyment was his grandchildren. He loved his family and really looked forward to time with his family. Herman is survived by his wife, Juanita Anders of the home; nine children, Billy Anders and wife Melanie of Nowata, Patricia Wilson and husband JW of Bartlesville, Esther Schonherr of Nowata, Gail Page and husband Terry (Honky) of Dewey, Eddy Anders of Nowata, James Hewitt and wife Anita of Tulsa, Floyd Hewitt and wife Marsha of Nowata, David Hewitt and wife Sharyl of Nowata, Joyce DeJarnette of Tulsa, twenty four grandchildren and thirty four great grandchildren. Herman is preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Esther Anders; a son, Gene Anders; three brothers, Ed Anders, Monroe Anders, Billy Wayne Anders; a sister, Maxine Bernard and a grandson, TJ Page.
