November 10, 1934 — January 9, 2008

James Marshall Taylor, 73-year-old Nowata resident, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Taylor was born November 10, 1934 in Oologah to Walter Algernon Taylor and Willa Lee Callaway-Taylor. He grew up and attended high school in Nowata, graduating with the Class of 1954. Mr. Taylor served in the National Guard for 14 years and worked as a Master Machinist for Phillips Petroleum until his retirement in 1992. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and bow hunting. Mr. Taylor also spent countless hours reading and watching westerns on television. He was a huge fan of the OU Sooners and the Green Bay Packers.
