Jan Harrison, 67, a resident of Afton passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2006 in Tulsa, OK at Saint Francis Hospital. She was born on May 1, 1939 in Afton, OK to George and Ima (Trask) Sherman. She married Bill Harrison May 29, 1961 at First Baptist Church in Afton He survives of the home. Other survivors include her daughter Stacey Wilks of Edmond and two grandsons Nate Wilks and Matthew Wilks, two sisters Jean Turner and Doris Gibson and one brother Dean Sherman. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, July 22, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Afton with Pastor Chuck Price officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Afton, OK under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. Casketbearers will be Scott Johnson, Eric Wilks, Johnny Johnson, Rick Sherman, David Killingsworth and Jim Gibson.
