Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home - Grove, Oklahoma, 918-786-2261. Jarrell Duane Gray, 47 year old Grove resident, was taken too soon from his family and friends on May 18, 2016. Jarrell was born on March 16, 1969 in Jay, Oklahoma. He was the son of Daryl and Judy (Baker) Gray. Jarrell was a graduate of Grove High School, Class of 87'. Jarrell enjoyed tinkering with cars, riding his Harley, wood crafting, and spending time with family and friends. Most of all, Jarrell loved his boys. They were the light of his life. Whatever they wanted to do; they did". Jarrell was an active member of Elk River Baptist Church, but his service extended past the church walls. Jarrell had the biggest heart and was always doing things to help people count, even if it meant baking a last minute cake for a friend. Once a teacher in his son's school needed google eyes and without even being asked, went to Walmart and bought some for her. Jarrell always seemed to fill in the gap. Jarrell was preceded in death by his father Daryl Duane Gray and his big brother Phillip Dean Gray. Jarrell leaves behind his family, who will misses him dearly, his mother Judy, his three boys; Nicholas Duane Gray, Benjamin Phillip Gray and Xander William Gray. Jarrell will be missed by his sister Lisa Lovelady and her husband Steve, and his brother Marc Gray and his wife Tammy, and a host of other family members and friends. A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm, Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Elk River Baptist Church, east of Grove. Jarrell will be laid to rest beside his brother and father in Olympus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Jarrell Gray donation account at the Bank of Grove. All donations will be put into a trust for his boys' college education.
