Jeanette "Lucy" Diane Beaupre

Jeanette “Lucy” Diane Beaupre, 76-year-old Nowata resident, passed away April 2, 2024 at the Journey Home in Bartlesville. Jeanette was born September 9, 1947 in Los Angeles, California to William Martin and Juanita Dorothy (Mauk) Beaupre.

Jeanette spent most of her life in California and moved to Nowata in September of 2000. She worked for many years as a nurse. After retirement, she was the Activities Director at the Nowata Nursing Center and volunteered at the Nowata Library. She could be seen at the Family Dollar as she visited there every afternoon. She was also very active in the Senior Citizen’s Center of Nowata.

Jeanette devoted her life to caring for others and truly had a genuine and helpful spirit. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Jeanette is survived by her special friend, Carl Benigar; daughter, Shannon Tanyi and husband, Matt, of Florida; son, Scott Sweetland of California; brothers, John Beaupre and wife, Deb, of Arkansas, and Bill Beaupre and wife, Stella, of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
