Jerry Wilson

Jerry Don Wilson, 65 year old Vinita resident died Saturday December 10, 2011 at his home. He was born December 2, 1946 in Prague, OK the son of Aaron Elgar Wilson and Wilma Thelma Johnson Wilson. The family moved to Vinita from Tulsa where he was a float operator at Ford Glass Plant. He was raised and educated in Tulsa where Jerry graduated high school at Webster High School. Jerry was of the Baptist faith and attended Trinity Baptist Church in Vinita. He loved spend time with his wife and family and friends, listening to music and enjoyed fishing, camping, wood carving and making beef jerky. Jerry will be missed by his family and friends. Jerry leaves behind his wife of nearly 36 years Phyllis Kaase Wilson of the home, four children, Tamra Leigh Acosta and her husband Michael, Tera Lynn McDaniel, Stacey Don Wilson and Erin Faith Wilson, fourteen grand children Shelby Leigh Wilson, Jessica Taylor, Kyra Hope, Kasimir Aurora, Jeremy Don, Cora Elizabeth, Kaitlyn Rose, Caleb Morgan, Mackenzie Anne, Jayden Alexander, Leanne Nicole, Spencer Everett, Nickolas Richard and Emily Marie; and a sister Sherry Cowett and husband Bill of Tulsa.
