Joe Henry Ross, 82, of Huntington Beach, California passed in peace on Wednesday, November 6, 2019.

Joe Ross was born in Oologah, Oklahoma on October 17, 1937.  He graduated from High School in 1955 and then served in the United States Navy.   After his service, he resided in Southern California for the remainder of his years.

Joe met his wife, Janette, in Long Beach, California.  The two were married on June 28, 1964.  During their 55 year marriage, they had three children:  Sherry, Susan and Sandra.

Joe was a loving devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.  He could be counted on to lend a hand, offer a shoulder for few tears or share meaningful words of wisdom.  He enjoyed passing time and celebrating life with family and friends most, especially his grandchildren.   His heart was BIG, generous and caring.   His legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone he touched.  Joe will be deeply missed.

Joe is survived by his wife Janette Ross; daughters Sherry Mayberry, Susan Paczkowski, and Sandra Shirley; grandchildren Joe and Jed Mayberry, Jake and Kayla Paczkowski, Trevor and Devin Shirley, and other family relatives.

The graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Fairview Cemetery Talala, Ok.
