John Barnard, Jr

WORLEY-LUGINBUEL FUNERAL HOME, GROVE, OKLAHOMA, 918-786-2261 John T Barnard, Jr, 89 of Grove, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019.  John was born in Oakland, CA on March 8, 1930 to John and Clara (Katzmaier) Barnard.  John served in the Marine Corp during the Korean War.  He worked for several years as a lineman and was part of the Lineman’s Electrical Union.  He enjoyed shooting, mushroom hunting, and bird watching.
Survivors include his sons Mike and Matt Barnard both of Grove, the mother of his children Margueritte Barnard, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Don Barnard.
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m., Sunday, May 19, 2019 at the Worley Luginbuel Funeral Chapel.  Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Monday, May 20, 2019 at the Worley Luginbuel Funeral Chapel.  Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville.  Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com or on the Worley Luginbuel Facebook Page.
