John Lloyd

GROVE - John W. Lloyd, 66, of Grove, Oklahoma, died on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Integris Grove Hospital. He was born in Columbus, Kansas on March 28, 1941 to Carl E. Lloyd and Vala B. Schutt. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. John worked as a builder in the construction industry and built many of the docks at Grand Lake. He loved fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Phyliss Lloyd in 1965. Survivors include: daughter Tina Lancaster and husband Richard of Quapaw, Oklahoma, brothers: Carl Lloyd of Pittsburg, Kansas and Merle Lloyd of Pittsburg, Kansas, sisters: Marian Miller and husband William of Weir, Kansas and Vala Powell of Pittsburg, Kansas, grandchildren: Jesse Lancaster and wife Peggy of Baxter Springs, Kansas and Sandra Clark and husband David of Neosho, Missouri, Great-Grandchildren Brody Houston and Brionna Clark. A memorial service for John W. Lloyd will be held at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2007. Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma is in charge of arrangements.
