Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma, 918-786-2261 John Edward Pair, 79, passed away on March 26, 2016 at his residence in Grove, Oklahoma. John was born on March 11, 1937 in Caddo, Oklahoma. He was the son of John G. and Anna Bess (Williams) Pair. John has lived in Delaware County for over 60 years. John owned and operated several business including a Drive-In restaurant, Antique Mall, Pawn Shop and a Retail Propane business. He loved to fish, hunt and riding horses. John was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Anita Boehme and one brother Danny Pair. He is survived by his wife Bertha Jo (Carroll) Pair of the home, his son Eddie Lee Pair of Twin Oaks, OK and daughter Tayla Douglas and her husband Bill of Grove, OK, three brothers Bill Pair of Miami, OK, Jerald Pair of Kansas, OK, and Roger Karnes of Oklahoma City, OK, one sister Kay Nelson of Gentry, AR. John was blessed with three grandchildren, Brandon Pair, J.R. Pair and Cassie Douglas, and five great grandchildren Jamie Pair, Chase Pair, Cheyenne Douglas, Dakota Douglas and Grayson Spencer. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Galilean Church in Kansas, Oklahoma with Reverend Leighton Reed officiating. Honoring John's life serving as casket bearers will be Bryce Pair, Jentre Pair, Brandon Pair, J.R. Pair, Craig Mitchell and Darwin Mitchell, and honorary casket bearers will be Ron Pepper and Olen Reed.
