John Seals

John W. Seals, 68, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma died Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center, Bartlesville. John Wesley Seals was born September 6, 1943 in Bartlesville, OK the son of Bill and Juanita (Hobart) Seals. John grew up and received his education in Bartlesville, graduating with the Bartlesville High School Senior class of 1961. On April 13, 1963, John married Janice Sue Snow. Together, they would expand their family with the addition of son, John, Jr. and daughter, Michelle. John began a 36 year-long career with Reda Pump in 1969. This career would move his family to California, Mississippi and eventually back to this area, establishing their home in Dewey, Oklahoma. John retired from Reda Pump in 2005 as an International Field Service Representative/Technician. Following the death of wife, Sue (Snow) Seals, John was united in marriage to Shonta Rhomaria on March 13, 2000. John and Shonta were able to share the last 11 years together, traveling and enjoying each other's company. John was preceded in death by: wife, Sue (Snow) Seals; infant twin sons; and a brother, Bill Seals. He is survived by: wife, Shonta Seals of the home; 2 children: son, John Seals, Jr. and wife Brenda of Sperry, OK and daughter, Michelle Seals and fiancé, Scott Azler of Sapulpa, OK; siblings: brother, Ron Seals and wife Mary of Tulsa, OK; brother, Kenny Seals and wife Carol of Bartlesville and sister, Anita McMurtrie and husband Bill of Bartlesville; 4 grandchildren: Brooke Seals, Sara Seals, RJ Wooten (Shelsea) and Wesley Wooten; 1 great granddaughter, Kylee; numerous Nieces and Nephews along with a host of other relatives and dear friends.
