Jonita Haney

Jonita Kaye Haney, age 51 of Vinita, died Saturday, January 8, 2011. Jonita was born in Perrington, TX on August 20, 1959, the daughter of J.R. and Alma Faye (Hunt) Haney. She enjoyed the Christmas season, flying to Houston to visit her sister, going to the movies and eating popcorn, drinking Diet Coke. She loved giving nicknames to her friends and participating in the Special Olympics where she competed in bowling, track and field, and the softball through. Survivors include her sister, Carol Neumann and husband Conrad of La Marque, TX, two nephews, Kelsey Neumann and Trey of Galveston, TX, and a brother and sister in law Harold and Lorena Haney of Garland, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at the Luginbuel Chapel with Rev. Raymond Irving officiating. Interment will follow at McLaughlin Cemetery in Cleora. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com
