Joseph Reed

Joseph Henry Reed of Vinita, died Sunday, December 23, 2007. He was seventeen years old. Joseph was born August 16, 1990 in Vinita, OK to Edward and Juanita (Turnbough) Reed. Joseph attended school in Vinita, where he would have graduated in May, 2008. He lived his entire life in Vinita. He participated in sports, playing football and baseball. Joseph enjoyed hunting and fishing. He enjoyed video games and listening to music. He enjoyed spending time with his mother and dad, and especially enjoyed pestering his dad. Survivors include his parents, Edward and Juanita Reed of Vinita; One brother, Robert Reed of Vinita; His grandmothers, Emma Turnbough and Jessie Wise, of Vinita; His adopted grandparents, Boyd and Sharon Ballingham of Billings, Montana, as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl Turnbough. Funeral Services for Joseph will be held Thursday, December 27, 2007, at 2:00 PM, at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel in Vinita. Eddie Fontanez will officiate. Pall Bearers will be: Todd Harrison, Jesse Turnbough, Jr., Charlie Turnbough, Tommy Lee Dameron, Casey McFarland and Jack Johnson. Honorary Pall Bearers are Alvin Reed, Bryce Ebbs, Tyler Yarborough and Michael Koontz. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Vinita, OK., immediately following the funeral service. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 26, from 6pm until 8pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita, OK.
