Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma. 918-786-2261. Joyce Lamphear, 87, of Miami, Oklahoma, passed away on April 15, 2016, at the Grove Nursing Center in Grove, Oklahoma. Born May 13, 1928 in Salt Lake City, Utah, Joyce resided in Miami, OK, was a homemaker and loving wife to Troy of 54 blissful years. Joyce's interests included cooking, reading, crossword puzzles, collecting bird decor and clocks, and she enjoyed baseball and western movies. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Troy Lamphear, her children, Steve Lamphear (Susan), Grove, OK, daughters, Diane Hampton (Robert), Zena, OK, Susan Safranek, Cocoa, FL, Vickie Rowland,Colorado Springs, CO, Bonnie Thomason and Christina Lamphear, Miami, OK, sister, Wanda Stephenson, Spanish Fork, Utah, 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one on the way. Joyce is predeceased by her daughter, Carol Vandever, son-in-law, Bill Safranek, father, David Murdock, mother and step-father, Howard and Gertrude (Remington) Henderson, brother, Wayne Murdock, sisters, Alice Mackey and Louise Hone. Pallbearers are Clinton White, Seth French, Michael Pacheco, Jason Safranek, Garrett Cox and Brian Clapp. The family is very grateful for the loving and superior care that Grove Nursing Home staff and Integris Hospice provided. The support and love from these people will never be forgotten by the family. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, and services will be held at 10L00 a.m., on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 both at Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma.
