Juanita Johnson

Juanita Cherokee Johnson, 94, of Vinita, passed away late Tuesday evening at Craig General Hospital in Vinita. Born on Sept. 27, 1911 in Estella, OK to Zeno and Emma (Beck) Cox. She was married to Harold Johnson in 1957. . She and her husband moved to Vinita from Wichita, KS in 1957 and was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Johnson and her husband owned and operated Riverside Grocery in Vinita for 13 years. He passed away in July of 1979 Mrs. Johnson is survived by one daughter-Brenda Miller of Wyandotte, OK. 2 Grandchildren; Bill Hargrove and Brad Hargrove 3 Step Grandchildren; Pam Engram, Toney Miller and Mike Miller 1 Great Granddaughter and 4 Step Great Grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Luginbuel Funeral Home Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2006 at Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jim Rutherford officiating. Casket Bearers will be; Toney Miller, Jim Porter, John Porter, Josh Porter, David Barbee and Rich Cagle. Burial will be in Timpson Chapel Cemetery.
