Juanita Larmon

Juanita Faye Larmon, 85, a resident of Jay passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at the Integris Grove General Hospital. She began her life's journey on June 9, 1922 in Ketcher area near Grove, OK. She was born to Leo and Madaline (Amos) Cooper. She graduated from Grove High School in the class of 1940. Mrs. Larmon immediately started working for ASCS office and continued for Forty-Six years, then at the county treasurer's office for John Thomas Earp for three years and then she was the county treasurer for ten years. She enjoyed the court house job and all of the people that she served. Mrs. Larmon was also a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Leo and Madaline Cooper, a sister Dorothy Hollenback and a brother Doyle "Lefty" Cooper. Survivors include her sons Curtis Larmon and Don Larmon both of Jay. Grandchildren Genita Frazier, Lee Jay Larman, Cole Larman, Blake Larman and Jake Callahan. Great-Grandchildren Jade, Cooper, Blake, Brice, Treyden, Brittany, Brooklyn, Callie, Bailey and Laney. A sister Reva Lois Votaw also survives of Kansas City, Missouri. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 11, 2007 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay. Funeral Services for Mrs. Larman will be 10:00 AM on Friday, October 12, 2007 at the Mount Hermon Church with Pastor Daniel Newton officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Hermon Cemetery under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay.
