Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, OK (981) 253-3222 --- Juanita J. Stephens, 83 year old Jay, Oklahoma resident, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014. Juanita was born in Delaware County on April 6, 1931, to Haskell and Golda Pearl (Quick) Earp. She graduated from Jay High School in 1948. Juanita was married to Elzie Benson Stephens in Jay, Oklahoma on March 8, 1949. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. For many years Juanita kept the books for the family NAPA business and then opened a daycare in order to take care of her own grandchildren as well as other children in the community. Above all, she was a devoted wife and mother. Juanita enjoyed traveling, loved working with children, teaching both in Sunday School and Missionettes, and, as many family and friends can attest, made the best pies in the world. She also would travel to watch family play sports and was an avid game player, especially dominos. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Homer Earp and Curtis Earp, and a granddaughter Misty Dawn Youngblood. She is survived by her husband Elzie of the home, daughters, Sandy Harmer and husband Phil of Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma, Sherry Youngblood and husband Don of Jay, Oklahoma and a son Bruce Stephens and wife Sherri of Jay, Oklahoma. She is also survived by five grandchildren, J.J. Youngblood and wife Cassie, Candice Jernigan and husband James, Ty Harmer, Brent Stephens and wife Nita, Haley Harmer and six great-great grandchildren. Funeral services for Juanita will be held at the First Assembly of God Church in Jay, Oklahoma, at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday December 27, 2014. Reverend Bill Goldner, Reverend Chad Allred and Reverend Robert Lokey will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Hermon Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday December 26, 2014 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma.
