Judith Lee

Judith Ann Lee 63 of Vinita, died early Sunday, February 15, 2009 at her home, surrounded by her family. Judy was born June 6, 1945 in Hutchison, Kansas to Harrison and Ethel (Smith) Koon. She loved and admired books. Judy worked at Southeast Elementary School and then moved to Vinita High School as a paraprofessional. She enjoyed working with the special needs children and loved going to work. In the evenings she worked at Wal-mart in the fabric department. Judy enjoyed the work and seeing all her friends come and go for their things. She was preceded in death by her parents Harrison and Ethel Koon, two brothers, Arnold and George Koon. The family includes: her husband of 44 years Jerome David Lee, her son Chance David Lee and wife Mindy of Tulsa, her daughter, Jenifer Ann Burlison and husband Chris of Russellville, Arkansas, two grandchildren, Carter Burlison and Cooper Burlison of Russellville, her sisters Bonnie Wahl and husband Pat of Joplin, Missouri, Connie Anderson of Galena, Kansas, a brother, Donald Joe Koon of Panama City, Panama, brother in-law, Jack Lee and wife Dolores of Vinita, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. The funeral will be held Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. in the Luginbuel Chapel in Vinita with Pastor Ryan Goodrich officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita.
