Judith Ann Porter Parrott age 83 passed away on December 9, 2021, at Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Judi was born July 4, 1938, at home in North Nowata County, Oklahoma to parents David Leroy Porter and Mary Louise Hudson Porter.

She grew up in Nowata with her twin sisters Linda and Wanda.  She graduated from Nowata High School in 1956 where she was a Cheerleader, Officer of the Girls Glee Club, Distributive Education Club.
Judi was a Lifelong member of the First Church of God Nowata, OK

Following graduation Judi married James E. Weaver also of Nowata in September 1956 Nowata, OK and had one child Jamie Ann Weaver.  In February 1967 Judi Married Mark V. Parrott in Covina, CA and had one child Jeffery David Parrott.

Judi was a spitfire of a woman.  An extremely savvy businesswoman.  At a very young age Judi was interested in making her own money.  Wheeling and dealing her way into the best bang for her buck.  She loved to sing and had a beautiful voice, she sang in the First Church of God Choir including solos at the church and weddings, she was a member of the Philtones Choir, Phillips Petroleum Company.  Judi flipped houses long before the term was coined flipping.  She loved to design and care for her flower beds, design, and make quilts and restore antiques.

Judi made her home in the Nowata and Bartlesville, OK areas.  After employment with Phillips Petroleum, she went into the grocery business.  Judi was the owner operator of the General Store, French Gulch, California and the Indian Lodge Motel in Joseph, Oregon. Her final position was Legal Assistant to Donna Nelson, Oregon House of Representatives. Judi loved traveling and took many adventures up and down the West Coast once she got to California in 1967. She loved living on the coast at Pacific City, Oregon.  In 2003 Judi returned to her home roots of Oklahoma and enjoyed traveling and assisting her cousin Joe Sears with his sets and plays.

Judi is survived by her children; Jamie A. Weaver Osburn and Clint Osburn, Son Jeffery D. Parrott and Tina, Grandchildren:  Jessica Wade and Ryan, Mari Hoffman and David, Jeffery T., Thomas and Rachel Parrott.  Great Grandchildren:  Maddi and Mylli Hoffman, Elijah and Georgia Wade. Sisters: Linda Pearsall and Wanda Wintgen and Ron. Maternal Aunt Liladene Stout and Edward. Paternal Cousins Janet Guy Harper, Joe and Earl Sears, Betty Lawrence.  Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Judi was preceded in death by Her parents; David and Mary Porter, Maternal Grandparents Edward and Maggie Chole Hudson, Paternal Grandparents Jim and Pearl Lawrence Porter, son in law Raney I.J. Goad, Jr, brother in laws; Virgil Pearsall and Bill Smith. Cousins; Bill Lawrence, June Waddell, Edlia Lawrence, and Doug Sears.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 am to 7:00 pm at Benjamin Funeral Chapel Nowata, Ok. Funeral Service will be held 10:00am, Tuesday December 14, 2021, at the 1st Church of God in Nowata, Ok.  Online condolences can be made to www.honoringmemories.com.  All arrangements thru Benjamin Funeral Service.
