Karen (Moore) Boyles, 63, of Nowata, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021.

Karen was born in Claremore, OK, on October 25, 1957, to Charles Clarence Moore and Jessie Viola (Nichols) Moore. She attended Nowata Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 1976. Karen continued her education and received her Associate degree from Oklahoma University as well. On July 16, 1977, she married Brad Boyles and they cherished three children together, Brad II, Derrick and Amber Boyles. In 1997, they went their separate ways and remained friends. She was employed at various businesses through the years, including Alco, Mayor of Nowata, and was presently employed at the Cherokee Casino in South Coffeyville as a revenue auditor. Her hobbies included, being active in the Cherokee Nation community, going to Branson, Missouri on a weekend getaway and vaunt to everyone how proud she is of her family. What brought Karen the most joy, and what she considered was her greatest and most precious accomplishment in life, was being a devoted and loving mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Karen will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Moore, and a brother Charley Moore.

Karen is survived by her mom Jessie Polone of Nowata, OK; three children, Brad Boyles II, and wife Heather Adams of Nowata, OK, Derrick Boyles and wife Amanda of Nowata, OK, Amber Boyles of Nowata, OK; three siblings. Jessie Ramsey of Bartlesville, OK, Patricia Harrison of Nowata, OK, Connie Friddle of Nowata, OK; four grandchildren, Cameron Blake Boyles of Ardmore, OK, Jayce Arley Boyles of Nowata, OK, Dru Ann Sieber of Nowata, OK, Maverick Jack Boyles of Nowata, OK; a uncle, Ervin Nichols and wife Jane; her fur baby dog Bear Arley; several other relatives, and a lots and lots of friends.

A visitation for Karen will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2021, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Benjamin Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial Service will be held  2:00 p. m., Friday August 20, 2021 at Benjamin Funeral Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Service Nowata, Oklahoma.
