Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma, 918-786-2261.Katherine (Kitty) Veronica Banning, 72 year old resident of Afton, Oklahoma, and former resident of Neodesha, Kansas, passed away on January 2, 2017 at Integris Grove Hospital. Kitty was born on November 21, 1945 in Eriskay, Scotland. She was the daughter of Ace and Peggy (McDonald) Bolton. Kitty previously worked in the health care field as a Licensed Practical Nurse. In most recent years, Kitty was the Assistant Manager at Buddy Foods in Ketchum. Kitty will be dearly missed by her husband, Russell of the home, her two sons; Danny Banning and his fiancé Kim Bowin of Cleora, Oklahoma, Dennis Banning and his wife Sharon of Parsons, Kansas, her daughter Peggy Beisly and husband Bryce of Neodesha, Kansas, her brother; Larry Bolton of Grove, Oklahoma, two sisters; Alvina Ostrander of Fredonia, Kansas and Debbie Olive of Cleora, Oklahoma. Kitty was blessed with three grandchildren; Trenton Banning, Brice Long and Kandra Smith; and seven great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 5, 2018, at Neodesha City Cemetery, Neodesha, Kansas; with Mr. Jake Allen officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent in care of the funeral home for sponsorship of children in the Ketchum school system.
