Kathryn Marie Davis, 81, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2009 with her husband Bob by her side. She was born on October 10, 1928 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Samuel J. and Della Allen (Goldman) Johnson. She attended the Oklahoma College for Women until she married the love of her life Bob Davis, on December 25, 1950. She was a devoted mother, a beloved wife and a loving grandma. She was a sweetheart with a great sense of fun and adventure. Mrs. Davis spent her life taking care of her family and friends, along with Campfire Girls, Boy Scouts and PTA. She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel Jackson Johnson and Della Johnson, her eldest brother Floyd and her son Richard Wesley Davis. Survivors include her husband of the home Bob Davis, and children Robert Davis, Suzanne Lopez, Liz Davis, John Chick and Jim Davis, her grandchildren are Adrienne and Peter Marquis, Helena Lopez, Davis Chick, Robert Wesley and Melissa Davis, Mikhail, Paige, Errol and Colton Davis, great grandchild Sophia and her brothers Joe Morris and Lloyd David Johnson. We will all love and miss her everyday. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the South Grand Lake Baptist Church on Highway 28 West of Jay with Minister Wayne Alexander officiating. Interment will follow at the Eucha Cemetery in Eucha, Oklahoma under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay.
