Kathryn Proctor

GROVE: Kathryn Inez "Kat" Proctor, age 80, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 3, 2008 at Grove Nursing Center in Grove, Oklahoma. Kathryn was born on June 6, 1927 to Oscar Victor "OV" and Lillie Mae (Evans) Tanksley in Tyronza, Arkansas. She married the love of her life, James Fletcher Proctor who preceded her in death in 1983. She was a loving mother and wife. She enjoyed quilting, baking bread, playing cards and dominos, and always made sure that her children were in church. Survivors include her fifteen children; Curtis Easley of Berryville, Arkansas; Carolyn Proctor of Grove, Oklahoma; Gary Reeves of Houston, Texas; Jenett Garrett of Blue Eye, Missouri; Kathy Plumlee of Grove, Oklahoma; Joyce Pittman of Harrison, Arkansas, Felicia Knight of Cabat, Arkansas, Sharon Bilby of Grove, Oklahoma, Roy Proctor of Grove, Oklahoma, Randall Proctor of Mount Pleasant, Texas, Bonnie Buzzard of Grove, Oklahoma, Roger Proctor of Grove, Oklahoma, Jim Proctor of Eucha, Oklahoma, David Proctor of Green Forrest, Arkansas, and Richard Proctor of Georgetown, Texas, twenty eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, and seven siblings, Calvin Tanksley of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Jean Riddle of Green Forest, Arkansas, Dorothy "Doodle" Bratton of Truman, Arkansas, Kenneth and Carl Tanksley of Harrison, Arkansas, Sue Stiles of Lowell, Arkansas, and Jerry Tanksley of Berryville, Arkansas. A visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2008 at the First Christian Church in Grove, Oklahoma with Reverend Gary Bishop officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be her grandsons, Brian Proctor, Levi Proctor, Adam Proctor, Waylon Garrett, Jason Garrett, Kendal Knight, Kyle Knight and Brandon Plumlee.
