Kay Robinson, 72 of Vinita, passed away Saturday, September 28 2013. Kay was born in Perry, IA on May 2, 1941 to Milford and Mary Louise (Moore) Slaughter. On March 17, 1958 she was united in marriage to John Robinson and together raised 4 children. Kay was a patient and understanding mother as well as a dedicated friend. She enjoyed quilting, fabric painting, writing books, and genealogy. Survivors include her loving husband John Robinson of Vinita, daughters: Vicki Bruno and husband Mark of Arvada, CO, Suzanne Kass and husband Alan of Atlanta, GA, and Kelly Sullivan and husband Darrin of Aurora, CO, siblings: Skip Slaughter of Jefferson, CO, Eileen Boyles of Muskogee, OK, and Cookie Ellis and husband Bill of Ventura, CA, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, son Jeff Robinson, and granddaughter Danielle Kass. The family would like to extend their thanks to the loving staff of St. Francis Oncology Department. Box 407 Vinita, OK 74301 Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m., Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel.
