Kenneth Cass

Luginbuel Funeral Home Vinita - Kenneth Paul Cass, 86 year old Vinita resident, died Monday morning, April 14, 2014 at the Heartsworth Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Vinita. He was born on July 18, 1927in Vinita to Paul and Iva (Goodman) Cass. Kenneth married Thelma Head in 1947 and they had three children. He served his country in the United States Marines during the Korean Conflict, stationed in China. Kenneth moved to Miami, Oklahoma in the late 60's where he started a plumbing business. After closed his business in 2012, he moved back to Vinita. He was preceded in death by his wife Maxine, parents, Paul and Iva Cass, sister, Dorothy Pointer, brother, Gerald Cass, granddaughter, Andrea Cupp and great-grandson, Zachary McCorkle. Kenneth is survived by his children; YuvonneWatt of Vinita, Paulette Brinkerhoff and husband Allen of Muleshoe, Texas, Kenneth G. Cass and wife Becky of Vinita; grandchildren, Mary Anne Boyd and husband Brian of Vinita, Jennifer McCorkle of Tulsa, K. C. Cass of Kansas City, Missouri; and four great-grandchildren. The graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014, 10:00 AM at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita, with Pastor Henry "Skip" McClain officiating.
