Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita, 918-256-5555, -- Kenneth Dale "Buck" Christian, Jr. 57 year old area resident, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015. He was born on November 15, 1958 in North Highlands, California to Kenneth D. Christian, Sr. and Patricia (Brown) Christian. Buck was a graduate of North Highlands, California High School. Kenneth married the love of his life, Donna (Stewart) Christian, they were married for 30 years, before she passed away in September of 2014. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Buck had just recently married Debbi (Guthridge) Ferdig. Buck was a member of the Family Praise Center in Vinita, where he served in many capacities, including teenage missions and the royal rangers. He loved serving God and others in his church. Buck also was a lover of hot rod cars, building motors and overhauling muscle cars. He also enjoyed working with wood projects. Preceding him in death were his loving wife Donna, his parents, a step-daughter Cheryl Copeland, and a sister, Christine Christian. The family includes; his wife Debbi of the home, step-mother, Judy K. Christian of North Highlands, California, step-children, Bryan Battles of Pryor, Ron Battles and Robert Battles both of Vinita, Melanie Baker of Muskogee; sisters, Debi Taylor of Rio Linda, California, Dale Christian of Antelope, California, Martha Ferguson of Citrus Heights, California; grandchildren, Morgan Wright, Trisha Jones, Scott Battles, Amber Battles, John Battles, Brandon Battles, Jeremy Battles and Timothy Battles; great-grandchildren, Logan Jones, Audrey Jones, and Diandre Battles. The funeral will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Family Praise Center in Vinita, with Pastor Rick Barrett officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita.
