Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma, 918-786-2261. Kenneth Franklin Ramsey, 91 year old Grove resident, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019. Ken was born in Winfield, KS on January 9, 1928 to Alvah and Bertha (Coombs) Ramsey. On June 29, 1951 he was united in marriage to the love of his life Betty Ruth Daniels. He proudly served in the Merchant Marines from 1947-1950 then in the Navy from 1950-1954. He then worked as a civil service agent for the Air Force until retirement. Ken loved people, animals, and serving the Lord. He worked as a carpenter building many churches. He also served as a song leader for a number of years. Prior to moving to Oklahoma Ken was a member of the Elks Lodge in California.
Survivors include his wife Betty Ramsey of the home, daughters: Rebecca Ramsey and husband Don, Debra Pedotti and husband Chico, and Robyn Dobbin and husband Chris, grandchildren: Michael, Tami, Kimi, Cindy, Chanda, Sonya, and Rachel, numerous great and great-great grandchildren, and siblings: Betty Hobbs, Alberta Rieden, and Nancy Yount. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Lois Ramsey, Helen Ramsey, Nellie Ramsey, and Norma Meyers.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at the Grandwood Assisted Living Center in Grove, Oklahoma.
