Lauana Gail Fowler passed from this life Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at her home. Lauana was born on September 11, 1961 to Fred Alvin and Jolena Marie (Brizendine) Dixon. She attended Chatcham High School in Turlock, California. Lauana had several careers over the years, including being an office manager and stay at home mom. Most recently, she worked as a dietary manager. Lauana was a very loving and caring person. Her husband, children, and grandchildren were very close to her heart and she loved taking care of them. Lauana was very giving and the time she was able to give of herself to others will be remembered by the many that received her blessings. She was a very creative person and an avid artist. She enjoyed collecting antiques as well as yard ornaments. She will be missed by all who knew her. Lauana is survived by her husband Monte Fowler of the home; two sons, Ronald James Venema of Nowata, Monte Ray Fowler, JR. and his fiancé Ashlea (Sparky) of Nowata; two daughters, Amanda Renae and her husband Justin Reid of Broken Arrow, Katrina Krestin Fowler or Nowata; three God sons, Alexzander Stevens, Zanieth Zachari Stevens, Nicholas Aaron Stevens; seven grandchildren, Jordan, Jaxon and Jasper Reid, Jolie and Laila Venema, Krestin Chapman, and Johnathon Bradley; a brother, Freddie Dixon and his wife Audy of Oologah, Ok.; sisters, Renae and her husband Ron Hickman of Denair, CA, and Gloria Dixon, of Nowata; as well as many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Jolena Dixon and a brother, Randy Lee Dixon.
