Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita, Oklahoma (918) 256 - 5555 ~ Ruth "Lavonne" (Hoffman) Williams, 82 year old longtime resident of Vinita passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015 at the Heartsworth Senior Living Center in Vinita. Lavonne was born in Pryor, Oklahoma on July 22, 1933 to her parents, Augustus and Dorothy (Sloan) Hoffman. She graduated from Pryor High School and soon after married the love of her life Thomas "Tom" Edward Williams on November 25, 1954 in Pryor and they were married for over 52 wonderful years before Tom's death in 2007. Lavonne was a member of the White Oak Baptist Church and always took great care of her family and she will be missed very much. Preceded in death by her parents and her husband Tom; one daughter, Linda Ruth Williams in 1973; and one brother, Carl Hoffman. Survivors include: her son David Williams and wife Kathy of Vinita; one sister, Norma Stephens of Pryor; three grandchildren, Leandra Atchley (Ryan) of Claremore; Kenny Williams of Vinita; and Robbie Green (Jenny) of Vinita; seven great grandchildren, Lily, Elaina, Kel-C, Landon, Lance, Sammi, and Mia; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. The family will greet friends at visitation from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Luginbuel Funeral in Vinita. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Vinita with Roy Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Vinita.
