Interment will follow at Nowata Relocated Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Benjamin Funeral Service. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com. An account has been set up at Arvest Bank in Nowata for memorials for the Smith family. Leigh Martin Davis, 13, passed away November 22, 2014 in Nowata County. He was born August 31, 2001 in Bartlesville to Ronald Leigh Davis and Maria Del Socorro Smith. He was in the eighth grade at Nowata Middle School where he was active in football, basketball, and track. He was a ball boy for Nowata High School. Leigh always had a smile on his face and liked to make people laugh. He was quite the practical joker. He was active in the Cornerstone Church Youth and HIS Life Church Youth. He was an animal lover and liked to play video games. He was a very loving brother and son. He will be missed by all who knew him. Leigh is survived by his sister Ana Maria Perez and her fiancé Derek Alspach of Nowata; brothers Ronald Davis of Nowata, Kent Smith and his fiancé Anna Cline of St. Louis, MO., Keith Smith of ST. Louis, MO., Kris Smith and his fiancé Carrie Schneider of St. Louis, MO; a grandmother, Teresa Vega Santos of Piura, Peru, and his best friends, Alex Covarrubius, Jacob Johnson, Nick Steigerwald, and his many other good friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kevin and Maria Smith.
