Benjamin Funeral Service - Lenora Mae Pryse, 79, of Nowata, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Cornerstone Hospital of Oklahoma in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was born October 9, 1937 in Nowata to Charles and Florence (Lybarger) Sutton. She graduated from the Nowata School System. On December 19, 1977 she married Walter Guy Pryse in Nowata. Lenora worked at the Bliss Restaurant as a waitress for several years before purchasing it. She loved serving people and her specialty was her pies. She loved cooking and baking. Lenora also enjoyed painting, quilting, and cross stich. Lenora was a wonderful lady that was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone. She held a special place in her heart for all her family and will be missed by all who knew her. Lenora is survived by three stepdaughters, Patricia Knotts and husband Jerry of Nowata, Connie Forster and husband George of Granite Shoals, Texas, Glenda Johnson of Berkley, West Virginia; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Florence; her husband Walter; siblings, Rosalee Powers, Wilma Brinkman, William Henry Sutton, Floyd R. Sutton, Marvis Sutton. The Family suggest donations to Watova Full Gospel Christian Center Building Fund, P.O. Box 151, Nowata, Ok. 74048
