Lloyd Taylor

Lloyd Taylor, 84-year-old Nowata resident, passed away at 8:00p.m., Friday, May 11, 2007 at the Nowata Nursing Center. Lloyd Taylor was born February 19, 1923 in Marshall, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Navy in World War II in the Phillipines. He married Beulah Mae Glover on March 29, 1947 in Independence, Kansas. He retired from the City of Nowata. Lloyd is survived by eight children, Richard Rowland of Arkansas, Pat Moss of Tulsa, Ada Wright of Missouri, Norman and Eddie Taylor of Bushyhead, Malinda McWilliams of Nowata, Penney George of Florida, and Marvin Taylor of Chelsea; by eight grandchildren; and by eleven great-grandchildren; by three sisters, Ada, Marie, and Irene; and by three brothers, Bill, LeRoy, and Gene. Lloyd was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lester and Elva; his wife Beulah; two brothers, Alvin and James; and one sister, Viola.
