Lois Jinks

Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. 918-256-5555. Lois Jinks, 88 year old Vinita resident, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017 in Tulsa. She was born on May 16, 1929 in Asotin, Washington to Willie A. Fletcher and Ollie (Chamberlain) Fletcher. Lois was united married to Eugene Jinks on June 1, 1948 in Vinita. She was a member and former church secretary at Trinity Baptist Church in Vinita. Lois worked for Eastern State Hospital for many years as the switchboard operator. The family includes: her husband Gene of the home; children, Eugene Jinks, Jr. and wife Wanda of Vinita, Monty Jinks and wife Cleta of Crossville, Tennessee, Larry Jinks and Raetta Jinks both of Vinita; eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers, and three granddaughters, Trina Jinks, Aretha Jinks and Kimberly Jinks. The family will receive friends from 9 AM to 10 AM Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Vinita. The funeral will follow at 10 AM with Pastor Leland Bartlett officiating.
