Lorna Green

Lorna Evelyn Green, 87 year old Langley resident died Monday March 12, 2012 at Craig General Hospital in Vinita. She was born March 3, 1925 in Westville, OK to Fred and Etha Anderson Sisco. She was raised and educated in Muskogee, OK. She and Johnnie Ray Green were married October 22, 1941 in Westville, OK and have made their home in Langley for well over forty years where she worked many years as a waitress. Lorna was a member of the Baptist Church and loved spending time with her family, cooking and was famous for her hot rolls. She enjoyed quilting, yard sales, traveling, to Colorado, California, and loved her pets, dogs, and cats and watching animals in the wild. Survivors include three sons, Jerry Ray and his wife Shirley Green of Nowata, Larry Wayne Green and his wife Phyllis of Alluwe, OK, Ronnie Edwin Green of Langley, and a daughter Glenda and husband Earl Gano of Langley, 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Maxine Musgorve and one brother, Wilfred Sisco. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday March 14, 2012 at Spavinaw - Strang Cemetery with Brother Kim Schmidt officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com.
