Madison Mayes

Madison Erin Mayes, age 10, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Integris Grove General Hospital in Grove, Oklahoma. Madison "Maddycakes", the daughter of James Mayes and Kristi (Leach) Mayes was born on February 12, 2002 in Grove, Oklahoma. Madison was a third grade student at Grove Public Schools. She enjoyed playing Roblox games and La La Loopsies dolls; enjoyed watching ghost hunting shows with her mom, was a huge Twilight series fan, and loved horses. Madison is survived by her parents, her sister Ashley Morene Mayes, half brothers Joey and Dylan and half sister Nikki. Maddycakes is also survived by her paternal grandparents, A.J. and Connie Mayes, maternal grandfather, John Leach, also Aunt Jamie Tanner, Aunt Melanie Houchin, Uncle Carl Holt, Uncle Matt Bledsaw, Uncle Jason Bledsaw and many cousins and other loving family members. Visitation will be 6:00 PM -8:00 PM Tuesday evening at Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home. Friends and family may also come by the funeral home 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday for viewing. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Church of the Shepherd, with Pastor Gary Bishop officiating.
