Margie Marie (Mitchell) Doshier, 89, of Talala, passed away at her home in Talala Thursday, December 19, 2019 with family at her side. She was born September 7, 1930 in Talala, Oklahoma to Ernest Fred Mitchell and Edna Mae (Hudson) Mitchell. Margie attended the Talala Public School system where she received her education.

Margie was employed by Bliss Restaurant in Nowata for many years as a Line Cook.  She loved her community and was very involved in different organizations. Margie was a life-long member of the Talala Christian Church and would send everyone a birthday card on their birthday. She was member of the Women Auxiliary of Talala, where they would help children and veterans receive scholarships for College. Margie would help make Christmas gift for the Veteran’s in the Hospital. She loved her family unconditionally making sure their needs were met. Margie was always busy rather it be her working, gardening, planting flowers or keeping the yard up. She had a special place in her heart for her children, grandchildren and family. Margie was a very special lady that will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding Margie in death are her parents Ernest and Edna Mitchell, eight siblings; Geneva Mae McConnell, Clyde Mitchell, Harold “Pete” Mitchell, Otis Mitchell, Ernie Mitchell, Carl Mitchell, Melvin Mitchell, and Elbert Mitchell

Survivors include children, Betty Hudson, Billie Fulbright, Earna Doshier, Jim Doshier and five grandchildren; Jolene Stacy, Bobbi Doshier, Deana Bement, Teana Leitka, Geana Meyer, along with many other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Margie Marie (Mitchell) Doshier is10:00 A.M., Friday, December 27, 2019 at Talala Christian Church with Tom Jones officiating, with interment following at Talala Fairview Cemetery in Talala, Oklahoma.
