Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home of Langley 918-782-4400...... Mary Kathryn Arnold passed away Saturday August 12, 2017 at her home in Spavinaw, Ok. She was born in Dalton Arkansas on May 11, 1935, the daughter of Finis Edward Knotts and Nina Mryl Haynes. Mary and her family moved to Michigan City Indiana when she was an infant. She was raised in Michigan City and met her husband Charles F. Arnold, they were married December 30, 1950. Mary and Charles moved to Spavinaw Ok. in 1984. She was a Baptist by faith and a member of the First Baptist Church of Spavinaw. Mary enjoyed cooking, camping, fishing, family gatherings and her Limosine cattle. She always enjoyed her church and spending time with her grandchildren. Mary enjoyed attending gospel singings. She was preceded by her mother and father; husband Charles; one son Bobby Gene Arnold; one daughter Loucindy Arnold.. The family includes; her children Shirley Arnold of Spavinaw, Ok. Kathy Ashford and husband Kenneth Gene of Kiefer, Ok., James Arnold of Spavinaw, Ok.; two brothers Level Knotts of Broken Arrow, Ok and Greg Knotts; one sister Shirley Rodgers of Katy, Tx. Mary had ten grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. There will be a family visitation at Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home Tuesday August 15, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Spavinaw on Wednesday August 16, 2017 2:00 PM with Pastor Harley Sarten officiating. Interment will follow in the Spavinaw-Strang Cemetery.
