Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma 918-253-3222...... Mary Evylean Cearley, 86 year old Jay, Oklahoma resident, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014. Evylean was born on July 21, 1928 in Delaware County, Oklahoma to George and Laura (Morrison) Stelle. She was a hard worker and enjoyed working on the farm, especially milking cows. Evylean also loved to cook and usually prepared three meals a day for family and friends, and would even make cake and coffee for visitors. She married Lawrence November 21, 1946.Evylean was the caretaker of Eucha Cemetery for many years. Evylean was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence, who passed away April 27, 1990. Evylean is survived by two men who she thought of as sons, Jimmie and Jason Hollenback, both of Jay, Oklahoma, two brothers, Dewayne Cearley of Jay, Oklahoma, and Wayne Cearley of Claremore, Oklahoma, a sister Martha of Oregon, and a niece Sandy Sixkiller of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 13, 2014 at Eucha Cemetery in Eucha, Oklahoma. Brother Robert Lawson will officiate.
