Mary Elias, 94, of Tulsa, and formerly of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, died early Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Forest Hills Care Center of Broken Arrow. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 19 at White Rose Cemetery, Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 18, 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home. Mary was born May 3, 1919 at Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Cirilo Silva and Maria (Lalcanter) Silva. She grew up in Bartlesville and received her education there. Mary married Frank Elias, Sr. in April of 1942. The Elias family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1957. Mr. Elias preceded his wife in 1966. Mrs. Elias was a homemaker and mother of six. She continued living in Tulsa and was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church of Broken Arrow. Mary enjoyed reading and embroidery. She was a great cook and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mary is survived by her six children, Frank Elias, Jr. of Broken Arrow, Jeannie Hardcastle of Tulsa, Richard Elias and his wife, Edie of Broken Arrow, Michael Elias and his wife, Peggy of Broken Arrow, Rusty Elias of Tulsa and Cathy Elias of Coweta, Oklahoma; two brothers, Pete and Florentine Silva, both of Bartlesville; six grandchildren, Karen, Mary Beth, Cindy, Brandt, Scott and Chris and five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; sister, Juanita Ortiz and brother, Ben Silva.
