MARY LOY MASTERS JAY, OK - Mary Masters died March, 29, 2008 at Monroe Manor Nursing home in Jay, Oklahoma. She was born on February 20, 1913 in New Market, Tennessee to Reverend Bert C. and Paralee (Jones) Cochran. She was a member of the Baptist church and a teacher. She wrote poetry, loved to sing and was a member of several Choral groups. She was preceded n death by her first husband Walter Loy Sr., and second husband Eddie Masters, son John C. Loy, one grandson Walter Loy III, three sisters; Bertalee Lockhart, Beatrice Todd, and Jessie Faye Cochran and four brothers; Jonas Cochran, Lloyd Cochran, James Cochran and Clarence Cochran. She is survived by her son Walter Loy, Jr., and his wife Nance of Jay, Oklahoma, daughter Carolyn Baca and her husband Danny of Denver, Colorado, daughter Betty Patrone of North Charleston, South Carolina, and her brother Bert Cochran Jr., of Knoxville, Tennessee. She also leaves seventeen grandchildren and more than thirty-five great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. A private burial will be held at Mill Springs Cemetery in New Market, Tennessee. Arrangements are under the directions of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Jay, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Monroe Manor Activity Fun, P.O.
