Mary Meek

Mary Jean Meek, a resident of Bartlesville, passed away at 3:35p.m., Friday, June 9, 2006 at her daughter's home in Bartlesville at the age of 49 years 8 months and 19 days. Mrs. Meek was born September 21, 1956 in Nowata, Oklahoma to Jacqulyn and Clarence Brannan. She grew up and attended schools in the Bartlesville area. Mrs. Meek worked as a self-employed housekeeper in Bartlesville for several years. She loved working in her flower beds and was known to make monthly shopping sprees with her mother and daughters. Mrs. Meek loved life and loved spending it with her family and her beloved dogs Nick, Bingo, and Muffin. Mrs. Meek was preceded in death by her mother Jacqulyn. She is survived by her father, Clarence Brannan of Bartlesville; by two daughters, Samantha Wood and her husband Michael of Bartlesville and Ve Granger of Bartlesville; by one son, Robby Brannan of Bartlesville; by one brother, John E. Brannan of Bartlesville; and by one grandchild, Destiny Granger of Bartlesville. Memorial Services will be held June 12, 2006 at 2:00p.m. at the Benjamin Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Pastor Jim Winslow.
