Mary Ann West

Mary Ann West, 86, of Delaware, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2024, at the Osage Nursing Home in Nowata, Oklahoma. She was born on February 26, 1937, in Delaware, Oklahoma, to Ralph Little and Nancy Ann (Corbin) Little.

Mary grew up in Delaware and graduated from Delaware High School. On June 1, 1955, she married the love of her life, Calvin West, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Mary mostly worked as a homemaker, tending to the needs of her home and family. In her free time, she enjoyed doing yard work and home repairs. She always liked to do her own thing. Mary will be missed by her family and friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents: Ralph and Nancy Little; her husband: Calvin West; her son: James (Butch) West and her siblings: Jim Little, Jesse Irons, Verna West, and Bonnie Little.

Those left to cherish the memory of Mary include her son: Ralph West and wife, Paula of Delaware, OK; her grandchildren: Matt West and wife, Megan of Delaware, OK and Kitty Herbel and husband, Jeffrey of Enid, OK, her great-grandchildren: Addison Herbel and Winter Herbel of Enid, OK.

A graveside service for Mary West will be on Monday, February 26, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at the Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery with Nate Freeman officiating. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the loving staff of Benjamin Funeral Service.
