Michelle Kuhns

Michelle L. Kuhns, age 41 and resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Thursday, August 1, 2013. Michelle Lynne Saunders was born November 8, 1971 in Richmond, Virginia. She was the daughter of Russell See and Vicki Lynne (Rakestraw) See. She graduated high school from Thomas Dale High School in Chester, Virginia. Michelle furthered her education by attending Richard Bland College where she obtained her Associates Degree/Registered Nursing Degree. In Bartlesville, she worked as an R.N. and held the position of Director of Bayada Home Health Care. Michelle and John Kuhns were united in marriage on August 20, 1994 in Petersburg, Virginia. They moved to Bartlesville in 1999 and have lived here since that time. Michelle was devoted to her husband and family and also her career in nursing. She attended Harvestime Assembly of God Church in Dewey, Oklahoma. She enjoyed scrapbooking, shopping at Brighton and visiting the zoo. Her most treasured moments were spent with her loving family. Being a "Mom" and "Mimi" were her favorite titles in life. She will be extremely missed by all her family and her many friends and associates. Michelle was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Sofy Lynne Benefiel. She is survived by her husband, John Kuhns of the family home; children, Amanda Lynne Benefiel and her husband, Christopher, of Bartlesville, and Cameron Drew Kuhns, of Bartlesville; parents, Vicki and Russell See, of Wann, Oklahoma; step-daughter, Amber Nicole Kuhns; half-sisters, Mandy Saunders and Marsha Richardson; and beloved granddaughter, Kactus Cheyanne Benefiel.
