Monique Shauntaa Downing, 53, passed away Sunday, March 8th, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on April 11th, 1966 to Hershel Ray Downing and Martha Jo (Hubbard) Downing in Nowata, Oklahoma. She attended Nowata Public Schools and later attended TCC for Nursing. She worked at the Hays House as a CMA for many years, then she worked at House of WEE Folk caring for children as one of her main passions. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her best friend Marisol. She was the best daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and auntie.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Kierstin Downing, father Hershel Downing, brother Gregory Downing, paternal grandparents Hooley and Daisy Downing, and maternal grandparents George and Leona Hubbard.

Monique is survived by her fiancé Eric Warren of Tulsa, three children, Christian (Autumn and son Francisco), Adrianna and Hunter Kelly all of Tulsa, her mother Martha Downing of Nowata, siblings, Rudy (Marcia) Downing of Nowata, Oklahoma, Regina Downing of Tulsa, Brian Downing of Webster, Texas, Maria and Anntwan Downing of Nowata, Numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, including Thadra Emory, Devon Hester, and Connor Downing who she helped take care of.
