Nancy Lee Miller

Nancy Lee Miller, 79, of Nowata, Oklahoma, passed away on November 17, 2023, at her residence in Nowata, Oklahoma. She was born to John Edgar James and Leona Amelia (Dunn) James on February 5, 1944, in Olean, New York.

Nancy grew up in Nowata and graduated from Nowata High School. She worked for J & S Machine and Valve in Nowata for many years and loved her work. In her free time, Nancy enjoyed going to church at Hillside Christian Church and going to Branson, Missouri, with her friend, Verla Smith. Nancy loved her family and friends very much and enjoyed spending time with them. Throughout the years, Nancy battled several health issues, but she always had a smile on her face to share with others. Nancy was loved by everyone who knew her. 

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents: John E. and Leona (Dunn) James and her brother: Bill James.

Those left to cherish the memory of Nancy include her grandchildren: Saralyn Miller, Josh Miller and wife, Katy, and Paige Miller; great-grandchildren: Daivion Miller, Kaiden Miller, Declan Miller, Kamryn, Miller, Blane Miller, McKenzie Perkins, Oakley Perkins, and Avery Perkins; her sister: Judy Grant; her nieces: Jeri McElhaney and husband, Mike, Joann Spradling, and Joni Lehmann; 10 great nieces and nephews, 8 great-great nieces and nephews, along with other family and many friends.
