Nellie Brown

Nellie was born on February 23, 1942. She was the daughter of Raymond "Dick" Wise and Sammie Carl. She received her early education in Drumright, Oklahoma where she graduated from Drumright High School in 1960. Nellie and Gary Leon Brown were united in marriage on December 18, 1959 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. They lived in the Bartlesville area until 1981, when they relocated to Hutchinson, Kansas. Nellie was a member of Victorious Life Church for 12 years. She enjoyed crafting, gardening, reading, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, April Chandler; sons, Gerald Brown and his wife, Becky, Sam Brown, Gregory Brown, and Rob Brown and his wife, Sheila, and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gary Brown; a sister; two brothers; son-in-law, Joshua Chandler; a daughter-in-law, Sherri Brown; and two grandchildren.
