Neva Perry

Neva Lorene Perry, 82 year old Nowata resident passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 at St John Medical Center, in Tulsa. She was born in Cooper, Oklahoma October 16, 1930 to Frank and Florence Galloway. On February 13, 1954 she married Charles Perry in Wichita, Kansas. She was a member of the Full Gospel Christian Center in Watova. Mrs. Perry enjoyed singing and listening to gospel music. She also enjoyed oil painting, gardening, and going to get her nails done with her daughter. More than anything Neva loved being a homemaker caring for her husband, children, and grandchildren. She loved having her family around where she could cook, spend quality time with them, and show them the love she had for them. She was a very loving and giving person that will be missed by all who knew her. Preceding Mrs. Perry in death are her parents Frank and Florence Galloway, a son Gary Perry, and siblings, Lois Perret, Virginia Cochran, Calvin Galloway and Norma Jean Barrett. Survivors include her husband Charles, of the home, daughters Michelle Thomas and Brenda Perry, grandsons Cody Perry, Dylan Thomas, and Brett Leiss, a granddaughter, Danielle Thomas, a great granddaughter, Maya Leiss, a sister, Francis LaRue, many other relatives and a host of friends.
