Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261.Neva Maude Wasson, 83 year old resident of Grove, Oklahoma passed away on November 21, 2016 at Grove Nursing Center. Neva was born on Augusts 22, 1933 in Bernice, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Harlan and Ida (Clark) Wasson. Neva was a graduate of Grove High School and she earned her Bachelors Degree from Pittsburgh State. She was a teacher for the Shawnee Mission School District for 30 years. Neva and her sister Margarete Collins, owned and operated the Flour Sack Gift Store in Grove for many years. She was an expert in antique glassware and dishes. Neva was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her nephews Patrick Michael Collins and his wife (Paula Hall) and Robert Howard Collins, her niece Sharon Collins, her great nieces and nephews Casey Shannon Pivonka and Skylar Robert Collins, and five great-great nieces and nephews. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Friday, November 25, 2016 at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Afton, Oklahoma with Mr. Doug Rainbolt officiating.
